This is my personal interpretation of what a potential Game Boy Classic could look like.
Design wise it resembles the style of the very first Game Boy (DMG) with it’s characteristic looks but with some features added. The thickness has been reduced by about one third compared to the original and a volume/brightness rocker has been added together with a Micro-USB port for charging the internal lithium-ion battery. The cartridge slot has been removed due to the 30 build in games which consist of a collection of classic Game Boy and Game Boy Color ones. The display is now a modern IPS color screen. Built in Bluetooth connection allows for multiplayer gaming with up to four players. And for the final retro touch it features a headphone jack for this sweet stereo sound.

For the technical side: modeled in Fusion 360, shaded and rendered in Cinema 4D with Redshift on two GTX 1070. Composed and color corrected in Blackmagic Fusion.
